SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD)
One Paper MCQs Type Written Test of one hundred marks (90 minutes duration).
Here are the subjects included in the test:
- General knowledge , Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography. Questions related to Counter Terrorism Department & its functions, NACTA, FATF, Terrorism, National Action Plan & Basics of Anti-Terrorism Laws in Pakistan.
- English language comprehension including Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Correction / Completion, One word substitution and idioms.
- Excellent knowledge like M.S Office, Electronic Record Keeping, Internet, E-mail etc.

Applicants may, inter alia, visit website of Punjab Police, Counter Terrorism Department and National Counter Terrorism Authority etc.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
- Medical Certificate Source: Obtain the Medical Certificate from specific authorized hospitals: Medical Superintendent of District Headquarter Hospitals or Service Hospital, Lahore or Police Line Hospital, Lahore, Certificates from Government Tehsil Hospitals or Private Hospitals are not acceptable.
- Validity of Medical Certificate: The certificate must be issued within three months prior to the closing date of the advertisement. Certificates issued after the closing date of the job advertisement will not be accepted.
- Completeness of Medical Certificate: The medical certificate must include details such as height, vision, chest expansion, and must bear a picture, signature & stamp of Medical Superintendent (MS).
- Source: Certificate from Govt Tehsil Hospital or Private Hospital are not acceptable.
- Chest Expansion: The chest expansion must be at least 1.5 inches. For example, if a candidates unexpanded chest is 38 inches, it must expand to at least 39.5 inches to meet eligibility criteria.
- OPD Slips: Medical certificate issued on OPD slip are not allowed.
- Format: Only medical certificates issued on the format provided by PPSC (available on their website) will be accepted. (www.ppsc.gop.pk)
IMPORTANT NOTES
- There is no relaxation in age, education, or physical standards for these posts. Punjab Civil Servants requirement relaxation rules from 1976 do not apply.
- Candidates who qualify in the written test will be recommended for appointment but must undergo a medical examination & meet additional conditions prescribed by the Government for appointment.
- Once the exam center is fixed for the written test, changes will not be allowed later.
